There was a big kick off last time when the start and finish times changed and DTD payments for each item were stopped, but the deal was eventually voted in.

Fast forward and a big kick off is happening again. This vote might be as close as brexit, but when enough people finally realise that nothing ever stays the same in life then this deal will be voted in as well.
I think common sense will prevail and most will accept it but you can polish a turd so much it still stinks of s**t!
So where is the YES where do I say yes you have dropped you and your mate Adi right in the pile of Poo so get your facts right!
Ffs give up you were a yes man now changed your mind that is not a problem but please be honest with yourself. (So why the go f--k) aimed at me surely was not said because you thought you were in the right???
FFS both of you give up, just in case someone might click through to this thread hoping to read something interesting or informative that's actually related to the original post.
Why give up when i know i am 100% in the right???its like all threads on here it drifts away from original question.

24 min seasonal variation and 30 min flex could mean some days you are working 54 mins longer per shift, add in if your on delivery the 25-35 min less prep this could mean some are doing an extra 90 mins extra outdoor work per day.

Have you not read the agreement?
The seasonal variation is *inside* work and the flex is voluntary. Have you read it? Sections 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 for seasonal variation and section 2 for flex.
How naive, it’s not indoor, it’s at the start of you shift for the first year, that doesn’t mean indoor, so you will be ready to go out on your walk earlier, and that’s only for 1 year. The company will produce data that they lost x amount of money due to down time as we started too early that will give them the ammunition they need to ensure it’s at the end of your shift year 2 onwards..

And the flex is currently voluntary and has been for years, however that up for discussion in the coming months in which the voluntary will be removed..
How are you working an extra 20 minutes at the beginning of your shift outdoors? So you didn’t read the agreement then, but now admit you were also wrong on flex. Progress.
If your indoor work takes you 2 hours it doesn’t matter what your start time is it will still take 2 hours, if you start 24 mins earlier then you will go on delivery 24 mins earlier, so will spend 24 mins more outdoor, am not really sure what part of that you don’t understand it’s pretty simple.
As for flex I was not wrong, it’s up for discussion to be mandatory at the company’s request.

The burden of proof has not been achieved where did I say YES I asked you and all you can come up with this " Why give up when i know i am 100% in the right???its like all threads on here it drifts away from original question." That is not proof if I took you to court I would win just like the Rooney trial do not say stuff you cannot substantiate in a court on here!

Maybe this agreement doesn't specifically say anything about the length of walks but the future doesn't look like the job is going to get easier with either a yes or a no.

I've been loaned out several times to different delivery offices - five so far. I have never heard that the walks are going to get smaller. Quite the opposite. It's always "three walks are being removed" or "two walks must come out" etc. Why "must" they? Just because they say so. Plus there is always a bit of collapsing/lapsing/absorption (pick your term) during the week.
They can make the duties up to have 2000 calls. You still only have to work your contracted hours.
I never understood why postmen don't get this .. so many have made time over the years they probably think its a right and are prepared to strike over it. Of course the management have taken a sledge hammer approach but your hours are still the same regardless of the size of the round.

Not the same as YES and I am not advocating the way anyone should vote just saying most will use their common sense and most will accept it, Is not saying YES never did so be factually correct on this if Adyo1 wants to throw his toys out of the pram he can go forth and multiply. I don't really care how anyone votes this will be the end of the matter for me as I am vindicated!

How can the vote be accepted without more people voting YES than NO?

You said that acceptance of the deal was common sense.

Therefore you thought that a YES vote was common sense.

Just give up and quit the semantics ffs :chuckle

The argument isnt that you never thought the deal was crap

Its that you thought it should still be accepted

You clearly did think it should have been - why continue to pretend otherwise. Its fine to have changed your mind.

You still havent answered the question btw. Do you still believe that it is common sense to accept the deal?

Your trying to make a case that is not there by not using the original post that I stand by the way you are undermining yourself by being ignorant of the true facts and YES was never implied nor inferred. Yet as a second rate poster on here your trying to make a case you are wholly unable to do so any court in the land will dismiss your own inference as unsubstantiated codswallop!
