Haven’t gone through this entire thread but my feeling is that if the deadline has been passed with no resolution then the PEC meeting is for nothing more than to discuss strike dates.

With absurd revisions going live in the coming weeks you’d think maximum disruption to them is one of the last tools left in the CWU’s arsenal

Maybe they've timed these revisions going live so when they do fail (which it's clearly obvious they are going to) the RM cronies can blame it on the strikes again.

Might be worth letting the revisions fail for a few weeks then striking.

Now he isn't at the negotiations this is being hailed as some sort of victory?

Not the impression that Thompson gave. He was always waxing lyrical about how HE wanted to get round the table & negotiate. He was also partial to filming himself outside wherever the meetings were taking place (when he did show up) to spout his drivel.

It's exactly what the CWU did....they were moaning for weeks that ST wasn't involved.

The end of the threat of mandatory Sundays for existing staff is such a massive open goal, I’d be amazed as the union don’t get that as part of the new ‘deal of the century’ that is no doubt incoming. You don’t need a full office to cope with packet traffic on a sunday.
