Put in your D2D leaflets for tomorrow when you get back from delivery, that's how we operate.

Cpsteve - the latest figure I saw was 1.5b, so yes it's a massive earner and no company anywhere in the world would be able to refuse the income.

DOOR TO DOOR SUCCESS FACTORS UPSKILLING - Good News
Have you completed yours?
A very quick update and thank you for those that have completed their mandatory D2D success factors upskilling since it's launch at the end of August.
I can see over 1450 COMs have already completed this. I hope it helped and you can ensure focus in delivering each and every D2D product during these testing times. Remember the aim is to deliver in the due week - however if operationally impossible then finish deliveries the following week. (Don't return any undelivered items to your plant).
We still have over 700 COMs who haven't completed the course yet - so if you are one of these please do so asap. Feedback is great and it only takes approx 20 mins!
More Comms to come aimed at the front line staff in the near future - so watch this space....

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Not sure who did it, but the walk I was on today had literally all of someone's D2Ds still bundled and sticking out of a public bin!

Royal Mail should be above delivering that garbage.

And by customer, I don't mean the w*****s who produce the garbage, I mean the poor sods whose doormats we litter with the damn things.
This Garbage helps to pay your wages and the w*****s who produce this garbage are the ones who pay for them to be delivered.

Too many posties treat Households as an inconvience to rushing out the door! Your Duty should be structed to allow time in the morning to prep them ....... I believe it's 11 minutes for a column, if prepping them daily. Admitedly most posties like to prep them in one go and take them where they're going if your doing that take 5 x 11 mins = 55mins on Monday. :cuppa

More like 66 on a Wednesday. No time for that unless the night staff are bored.

After you have your structured revision they will all be going in on Monday and you warm call throughout the week.
That is the spec.

Ignorance on my part but the 1450 club?!

I was in a section that hasn't had a proper screw since the management restructure.... At least 3 of the guys in the section take their D2Ds as a separate bundle (I see one of them holding them under his letters and pulling one from the bottom at each house)

Out of interest, is that 11min per D2D per column? 2 D2D's would require 22mins per column?

Might help if they were actually on your frame on a Monday and not Thursday 🤷‍♂️

It's really very simple folks.

When you get back to the office, prep in your D2D's for tomorrow or two/three columns or whatever until you reach your duty finish time. Then go home and when you come back tomorrow your D2D's are already in the frame.

Nope, you should prep that days d2ds on that day, time to do them 'should' be built in to the duty, but as has been already said that should have changed to all in on a monday after the revisions . Mind you like many offices our revision had to be reversed so it's back to doing them daily
