His attitude to responsibility and humility is sub standard. He's profited off the back of the pandemic by rewarding himself. Is he admitting, by taking credit, that he created coronavirus. As we didn't we aren't entitled to anything.

SIMON SAYS - These 4 day strikes are bad as customers parcels/mail is being delayed.
ALSO SIMON - Understaffs depots across the country for over a year now, which means that on the Posties day off there is no cover. Mail & Parcels are delayed. This happens every week!
If you are someone who runs an ebay business and send items out by 1st or 2nd class then it is highly likely this happens to your mail/parcels. I am aware that on ebay you are monitored for how quickly items get delivered to customers. These delays could easily destroy your business as your Seller Rating will drop if your customers report items as delivered late. If your Seller Rating drops then your sales can take a significant hit.

Maybe you should check out Ebay, they have clearly stated that delays due to strike wont affect business ratings.norris9 wrote: ā31 Aug 2022, 17:10

The office i work at is a hub which was open, nobody except agency workers attended i also no, the five nearest offices to ours were not open, i think simon is telling porky pies, the retail customers he has been talking too have spoken of the necessity to implement the changes he requires driving our terms and conditions to the floor, oh and by the way team thanks for all the hard work you put in through the pandemic, the manager was telling me yesterday that the strikes were having no effect i explained to him with facts, 4 agency workers were covering four duties parcels costing 20 agency hours while we were covering 1 duty between us normally costing 6 hours overtime add fuel and van hire on top i asked him to do his maths then explain to me that it is costing royal mail nothing granted royal mail will save on peoples cost on strike days but the agency staff are at our office 5 days a week at the moment also don't forget to factor in your attendance bonus.

The bigger picture is they aren't concerned about longevity. They just want a fast buck by selling gls and do one. The board have been gifted huge share bonuses and the sale of gls will give massive dividends. We've hurt Thompsons ego and he will see that that is rectified. Faster as a consequence of standing upto a schoolyard bully. Simon Thompson is a school yard bully. You can't reason with that mentality. A very weak emotional insecure person who now has the power to stamp on a lot of people to make his weak self feel better. Its pathetic but deserves sympathy. We could well lose this battle but he will forever be weak and extremely pathetic. For that I will forever feel sorry for him. Living each day with such a low opinion of yourself that you need to ruin others. It's really quite upsetting.

About 150 OPGās in our office. Not a single one attended for work on either strike day. We did have a couple of managers in delivering specials so they probably counted the office as āoperationalā. Itās just spin and BS.

And I bet his grandad whom he was waffling on about a few weeks back would hate him. In fact I bet he'd think he's a prick. Probably a good job the old fella passed away so he doesn't have to see what the devil's spawn is up to.
