Just phoned about taking my NRA 65.
Hope this info help.
There is one number to ring which should get everything sorted for RMSPS and RMPP.
0114-241-4545
They quote 3 weeks for forms to get to me to be completed.
Then 3 months to process the forms.
We shall see......

Re: Pension Timescales for Info
dont really want to be in a pension for a couple of years hardly worth the hassle and only using the timescale for the new pension as a possible trigger nothing else

Re: Pension Timescales for Info
Personally I don't expect to be in RM employment for more than 6 months after the new CDC scheme starts, but have every intention of joining it.
It won't give me much of a pension. But with the ability to transfer out, paying in and taking advantage of the 'free money' is a no-brainer in my opinion.
You have 2 options with the DBCBS:
1. Take it predominantly with your NRA65 benefits.
2. Transfer it out to a DC pension, where only 25% is guaranteed to be tax free.

Re: Pension Timescales for Info
Presumably you are taking it early and not approaching NRA. Normally you only have to request a quote when taking any pension early.Hawkey99 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2022, 16:56Just phoned about taking my NRA 65.
