To fit the criteria is it calculated from the 1st every month?
Reading the FAQ / Info on the Employee App i'd guess its not 1st of the month to the end of the month. I'd guess its from the first monday of the month for either 4 or 5 weeks depending on the month ends.
i was wondering if the dates were fixed, but guess those in both sets of crooks in the ivory towers will be bothered to tell us until too late,
but my reckoning this years would start on mon 5th apr, then every 4.33 weeks, but knowing them, the reset point will be midday on some occasions and still fail to qualify if in early or worked over
i've decided myself after taking the nov payment which is also nip & tuck if i qualified or not because of the lack of info to just use the acas way
at least it should be fairer
Likewise im annoyed with the lack of clear details. I'm guessing it started 29th March as thats when this years annual leave started but 5th April is a more logical start date. Each "monthly" period is then either 4 or 5 weeks.
Defeats the object of Holiday ! The months people are on Leave some people have lost out on the lump sum . I was 1 hour under the 8 hours when I was off 2 weeks July 2019 . Same old stuff winners and losers .
There are no "winners" as such.
They are just getting paid what they are owed legally by qualifying for a set of retrospective terms.
The rest are being illegally duped and it will be saving RM a small fortune, unless they do something about it.
ACAS is s free service, the more people that put a claim in now they've realised the consequences of this s####y deal, the better.
These are the next set of payment periods, from a union release back in the summer:
P7 27th Sept to 31st Oct
P8 1st Nov to 28th Nov
P9 29th Nov to 26th Dec
P10 27th Dec to 30th Jan
P11 31st Jan to 27th Feb
P12 28th Feb to 27th Mar
Which I’m assuming will be paid late May 2022.
do you have the 1st 6 months dates please?
Yeah I could do with a list of them all to be honest. I think il be alright I was for this payment, but there’s one particular month where it’s going to be close so could do with some accurate dates.
got jackshit in backpay , but never mind im saving £190 a year ,

union backup ? , what like all the posties who put e/t claims in to get this agreement and know being left to fight for there own money if they didnt agree with this farce of an agreement , and i fight my own corner and always do , but thanks .
So what happens if you have an accident and you need to go to court? Have you heard how much solicitors and court cost are. Enjoy

theres plenty of no win no fee solicitors out there to deal with such cases if it came to it , so is that the only reason your just paying your money to the cwu ?
Can somebody point me in the right direction for ACAS as I feel I have been mugged for the sake of 20 mins while on 3 week leave and clocking up over 200 hours in the 5 previous months

theres plenty of no win no fee solicitors out there to deal with such cases if it came to it , so is that the only reason your just paying your money to the cwu ?
that's not really a good option, what if you're the cause of an accident/incident and you need a solicitor to plead your case to keep a conviction to its minimum?
i'm with you on the fact our union doesn't really look after its members in the general day to day workplace like it used to, dare say most unions are the same now but i'd always want the backing should anything personal come up

All we keep seeing in this thread is ACAS this and ACAS that with no information about how to put a claim in.
