This whole concept confuses me, not having any experience of how these machines operate.
But here goes-
First wave of sequenced we get might have I'd say 250 items in a tray.
2nd anywhere between 50-100.
Now loose mail walk sorted on stack there will most days be over double that amount.
So call me stupid, but the clever machine might throw back a single item on day 1, but most likely you will be going with hand sorted.
Day 2 the machine releases the mail, perhaps you don't have have hand sorted that day- you're going to the same house 2 days running where before you're only going on day 1.
Half the time we get some kind of bulk posting anyway, tonnes of go outdoors/screwfix/matalan etc that all comes loose.
That's even before you think about going to an address with a packet anyway.
I mean wtf??
They're selling the new revision on this concept, and that that it will save us time on delivery.
Someone please tell me how.
