Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
Please can someone help... I have an item stuck in Langley since 7-Nov, tracking UJ701732315CN https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/UJ701732315CN
Do you think I will ever receive this item, or should I cancel and re-order please?
Item is a garden hose pipe, so shouldn't be any battery related concerns. I had no idea I was ordering from China when purchased (thought it was a US company). Thankfully don't need to water garden at this time of year, but have been waiting to wash the car for over two months!

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
The last scan was made by China Post so I would say its not certain that it has made it to the UK. Your best option is to contact the seller, or Amazon if you got it through them.

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
It may not help a lot but I would use the Royal Mail link
Tracking no. LP019893866GB
https://www3.royalmail.com/track-your-i ... 19893866GB
It also gives you the linkto track in Poland when it reaches Poland

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
Thanks for the response!
I am not quiet sure it has left UK yet or if it is forgotten , as you can see it has already been sent twice?
On the polish site nothing is uppdated yet. Still I appreciate your response.
Cheers!

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
I wouldn't read to much into whether it has left the UK twice, i'd keep an eye on the Polish website though as they are more likely to update when the parcel has reached Poland
If it did leave on the 31st it could still take a fortnight in normal circumstances so fingers crossed it will start moving soon
Although it is a pain I wouldn't worry to much, it would be nice if Royal Mail could track all the way but they don't bother
I honestly believe that the Royal status should be with drawn as they no longer deserve Royal in the title

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
I am from Hong Kong and also encountered the issue with the parcel stuck in Langley HWDC since 2-Jan-2021 with following status ( tracking number: RN584958203GB)
****************************************
We have received your item at LANGLEY HWDC, our international processing centre. Your item is being prepared for despatch overseas.
****************************************
The parcel is the Manchester United coins which I ordered in eBay and mail to Hong Kong.
Could anyone have an advice?
Thanks

It might be waiting for a flight, the numbers are reduced at the moment.
Or they might be trying to work out if coins are allowed in the mail to Hong Kong. Lots of countries ban or restrict them. I *think* they are allowed to HK, but frankly the page on RM's website is unreadable:

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
They may be checking to see if the items need to comply with the above Restriction, and if they are, then if it indeed does comply.Coins, precious stones, jewellery and objects of gold, silver and platinum and other valuables must be sent by registered or insured service. However, articles of a total value exceeding 2,500 HK $ must be sent by insured service.

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
The last scan says no more scans are expected. There are many possible reasons why, but I think it's lost you need to contact the sender. There are delays on international mail - but I have not seen any from early November.

Re: Customs at Langley HWDC
There is no way to recall a package once it has been sent. It is illegal, and even if that wasn’t the case, it would be very difficult to do.
