The same rules apply as to the free shares, they're not 100% tax free until you've owned each batch for 5 years. Unless you're a good leaver.
thanks yes I thought it was 5 years

I noticed that this message has appeared at the top of the SIP webpage:
My SIP
Terms and Conditions
Please be aware that the Partnership and Matching Share Plan Terms and Conditions were updated in February 2021. The current version can be found in Quick links.
This document is available in quick links, but there is no date associated with it:

730_RMG_SIPApps_TandCs.pdf

Does anyone know if this is an old or the updated 'terms and conditions' for SIP? If these are the terms&c, what are the changes?

Partnership & Matching scheme started in October 2018

So at the end of February 2021, the scheme has been running for 29 months.
Total amount invested so far has been £2,900
BUT because you don’t pay Income Tax or National Insurance on the deductions from pay, each monthly investment of £100 only costs you £68 of your take-home pay.

Cost to you: 29x68 = £1972

Shares allocated:
1,274 shares + 58 ‘matching’

At a share price (now) of 500p

Your shares are now worth £6,660 :dance

Although it's a paper gain and still one year and seven months till you can fully realise the profits from the first purchase :nervous

My bad, actually 31 months to go

Well of course it’s a paper gain. Just as it was looking like a huge paper loss, just under a year ago, when the price was in the doldrums at 139p :left:

Hi, sorry if this is obvious but I can't for the life of me work out how to view a breakdown of how many shares have been bought each month.

This thread is full of people sharing rows of data like:

16/11/2020 - 42 bought,cost then = £114.54,value now = £146.83

I presume this is generated by the website, but how do you do that?

Cheers!

Keso,
Log into the royalmailemployeeshares website.
Click on my investments at the top.
Middle of the page,SIP shares, press view.
Near the bottom of the page,Partnership Shares, press this.
Change the date to 15/10/18 for a full breakdown.

Simple cut & paste for the rows of data but it takes 1 hour to edit.
James.
