this is how i feel, as long as i continue to work in the office im currently in doing something then im happy, not even that bothered about a pay rise.

To be honest I'm not really interested that much in a pay rise which would probably give me an extra tenner a week. There are so many bigger issues. The state of delivery offices is one. A lot are not fit for purpose, disgustingly dirty and haven't be decorated or maintained for years.

Obviously each office/area is different, but whilst our higher up area management run like a private company, local management on the whole is about as public sector as it gets. Most of them want out as they are constantly robbing Peter to pay Paul. I aim to resign around the 4th Dec and take a weeks leave. Last pay date 18th Dec.
Took pension payment 1st Nov 2020 (lump sum) So I have thirteen weeks to leave after that date (double check that 13 weeks, But I am confident in my memory).
HR told me it can take a few weeks to process the money.
NB for people reading this later, you must take NRA65 and must do this before the new CDC scheme comes in.

Any chance we might get a little insight (without breaching confidentiality) into how the talks are progressing Martin ? The clock is ticking towards the half yearly announcement and in particular was wondering if the JP Morgan announcement in the Times strengthened or weakened our position? I don't think I would be alone in stating that any news would be appreciated by the members.

Just to be clear I’m not having a go at Martin here but the other two need replaced, and the salaries lowered for who replaces them.
