Dear Colleague
CWU APPEAL AGAINST HIGH COURT DECISION
The purpose of this LTB is to notify Branches that we are appealing against the decision of the High Court to award Royal Mail an injunction to invalidate our strike ballot.
The appeal will take place on Thursday 28th November 2019.
Further information will follow in due course.
In the meantime, any enquiries should be directed to Senior Deputy General Secretary’s Department sdgs@cwu.org.

Because an appeal gives us an opportunity for ia before Christmas, a reballot is a minimum 6 week process, so just reballoting would have put us somewhere in the last week of December.

Lady Justice Simler - She is currently President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal and is a High Court Liaison Judge for Diversity.
