DO I HAVE A CLAIM

Post by rumble1234 »

ive been off with back problems and have recently discovered that if your over six foot that your supposed to be supplied with a trolley with a longer handle so it doesnt hit off your heels when you walk. i wasnt supplied with one so i have to turn my body and push the trolley back further so it doesnt hit the back of my feet.its a position that may have caused my hip and back pain. can anyone give me some advice on this matter please. thanks.

As far as i am aware Royal Mail issued equipment will have gone through Usability Testing & Ergonomics. If equipment is made in addition to this as a reasonable adjustmant as to a persons height then it will be down to the employee to request this additional equipment. A duty of care has already been made by the employee as industry standard approval

Linking back and hip pain as a cause of action on the balance of probabilities will be hard to substantiate the trolley as a root cause
