Delivery problems

Post by pepsi »

I have a track and trace and the only info I can get is : has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in SINGAPORE. Is there anyway to check when it arrived at the destination country as I have not received the item after more than 2 weeks. Does Royal Mail requires a confirmation from the destination country that the package has been received by them and delivered by them? Does track and trace delivery take longer than regular air mail? Please advise as to what I should do to find my item. Thanks

Try the track and trace number on this site:

http://www.singpost.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

which I believe is the site of Singapore's equivalent of Royal Mail. In the event of the item being returned to you, its possible that the other operator attached their own barcode to the item and is scanning that barcode for the return journey up until whichever office over there deals with international mail.

I have checked and there is no record of the item. I also called Singpost and they confirmed that they have no record of the receiving the item. What else can I do? Can royal mail confirm that they have sent it to the right country? Do they have a record of the delivery?

hi pepsi! did the recipient finally receive the item? i have posted a parcel for my cousin in Singapore as well on December 23 and he hasn't received it yet. Man from the post office said it should be there in 5 days. i sent it via first class delivery (not recorded). i wonder when is a parcel/letter classified as delayed? (or how do i know if it was completely lost?)

There is no way in the world that it would take 5 days if you posted it on the 23rd.

Both packets are over there,it's down to them now.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
