i remember when colleague shares first appeared on my doorstep the information stated that the first opportunity to sell them would be 2011 the last opportunity would be 2012, if they are still worth nothing in 2012 then i will be upset until then what can we do apart from whistle for the money were owed.

I would be far happier supporting industrial action over the theft of our Colleagueshare money than over what may, or may not, happen in London.

You are more willing to strike over a scam which always had the chance of not paying out, and was always a bung in my opinion to introduce changes to and worsen our working conditions, and which Royal Mail always said

Ah well we may disagree why we are going to strike but if there is democratic support for a strike I hope everyone will do so, no matter the underlying reason.

The fact that we know Royal Mail are devious and dishonest does not mean we should just lie back and accept it when they shaft us.As I see it the Colleagueshare robbery shoulkd have been the final straw. We have been lied to, cheated, deceived and bullied and being subjected to daylight robbery should have been the trigger for our union to do something. All the other issues are quite hard to prove and vary from office to office. The Colleagueshare theft affects us all and is not an issue that RM can deny is real.

It only affects those that have been in the job a few years - not everyone.
Being pro rata it affects some a lot more than others.
