3 of the offices in trouble are in the area covered by the Parcelforce depot where I work ,
We are are not busy at the moment and could easily handle an extra 1000 parcels per day ,
Why are they not asking for our help ? .

It seems that like many other people have suggested they are deliberately failing the post and this is surely fraud when people are not getting the service the have paid for .

So, circa 10% of DOs are failing, yet no trial offices ever make the list? That seems statistically improbable.

If I recall correctly, there was an update from the union in November saying massive amounts of resources were being thrown at the ODM offices to keep them from falling into a hole they could never escape. Imagine if that fortune was made available to enable the provision of the current USO specification, well then there would be no crisis to exploit.
The machine stops.

Over 7000 hours ABOVE what they had planned, have been thrown at the Pilot offices to stop them failing.

Gawd knows but it is the equivalent of 196 full time jobs. Tony Bouch said it. So when RM want to prove one of their ideas works when it clearly doesn’t, they will throw money at it and claim poverty

They are not going to be able to throw money at it nationwide. I’m sure it will work well in some smaller offices but larger offices or ones that have had dodgy revisions it’s just going to collapse. You can’t do the packets and 1st class over a pairing in my office, it’s impossible to do the tracked alone.

RM expect 2 posties to deliver 2 days of mail and non tracked parcels. Do specials, customer collections and boxes in the same hours they work now when country wide there's offices having issues clearing walks as it is. If this is what the bring in then it may end up causing the company to go bankrupt.
