I regularly clock out 15/20 minutes early as people constantly come in 15/20 minutes late in the morning so that’s my way of evening things up a bit and I couldn’t careless about what anyone thinks about it .
Don’t u get pulled up for it mate ?
A couple of times I have but I simply point out the double standards and nothing ever comes of it.
Our managers would let you come in hours early just don't leave early unless you're mates
People getting crap for leaving 15 minutes early while others do as they wish especially Saturday's. Same old s**t. Our manager in charge both incompetent and spiteful
Ours is still the Wild West. Good percentage of staff start early unpaid, anywhere from 45 mins to an hour. Lots get finished up to 90 mins early and go home due to a combination of either starting early or a select few deliveries being ridiculously easy. Then there are deliveries that are ridiculously big but get completed because staff start early, skip breaks and rush round chucking parcels in bins(encouraged by management).
If all our office decided to work properly our office would be in flames within 3 days. The jobs well and truly f****d.
We all queue up and start clocking out at the exact finishing time. It's been this way for ages since SISO started.
Why? They know exactly when you got back to the office from your PDA.
And it's the PDA actuals data that be used for revisions etc, not SISO.
I don't know. Just what everyone has done since it came in. Maybe everyone is afraid to leave early. This was going on whilst the nearest office were doing job and knock. Don't know if they still are.

If/when you're pulled up on it try using that as a defence. Most leave the "he does it too" response at junior school.

Been pulled up on it numerous times , you can’t enforce one without the other, why should I work more than others for the same pay ?
We already have the disparity in workloads and pay. Not only in the differing pay rates but when I'm back to the office after barely clearing or not clearing and the same usual suspects are stood around doing f**k all every time I get back how is that right!

I know, yes I get it they can't make duties exactly the same but we've got some that are an hour difference
The other Saturday it had launched it down I was piss wet through got back 20 minutes early and told my manager I was going home, he said the Dom doesn't.mind 10 minutes or so on a Saturday but won't be happy, told him straight do you really expect me to stand around in uniform that's pissed wet through and stay here while he's sat at home with his permanent Saturday off and left the office.
