I was a CWU member for 31 years and they let me down when I needed them most. I always went on strike but I’ve never been on a picket line in my life. I didn’t do what I was accused of and the 2 managers know this. Until this happened to me I had no issues whatsoever with the DOM. In fact he went out of his way to assist me in obtaining the holidays I required not long before I was dismissed. I first met him when he was gardening for a living aged 19. In fact I’ve often wondered if he became a postman after seeing how much I enjoyed my job. Ironic eh? I spoke to the PWRFC as I wanted a platform to tell my story. I think you will find it’s a story many dismissed posties can relate to. The PWRFC certainly had nothing to do with my case and I hadn’t even heard of them at that time. Let’s hope you don’t find yourself in the same position.

Thanks Des. The video interview with Des about his victimisation can be watched via this link which has messages of solidarity from postal workers around the country https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2024/1 ... c-n06.htmlCexpress wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 19:31Moon71 just to rectify a couple of your random comments. Still not a bit of evidence that could of been used in a conduct code, proven holes in story, we covered this and it is off thread.
Why not start another thread.

The only thing you've covered is yourself in shame. Royal Mail and the CWU has not dared to challenge the account of Des's unfair dismissal.

Why would they, they've done nothing wrong.
Stop trying to use someone as a martyr to your cause. Have you supplied the evidence to the forum that was used in the conduct code. Absolutely not, hence anyone reading would just sense distrust.
Actually shame on you for going the lowest in hope to give false hope to your cause. You'll do anything to promote the PWRFC. And even the PWRFC could take the RM to court if you thought there was a case. But they won't.
Go on take Des, pay for a court and win and I'll eat my words.
Absolute shame.

My office, our sister office and something like 20 satellite offices appear to be happy with the CWU.
Hence my surprise for your hate campaign.

Any member could have stood for the position of general secretary. The reality is it's a closed shop and there is zero chance that a rank and file member could get on the ballot paper.Barnacle wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 18:56Incorrect. Someone else in a senior position in the union could have stood against him if they had the backing of 5 or 6 branches. Then it would have been a competition. Nope, just you and a few loud mouths on this forum. Nearly every rm site, up an down the country haven't heard of you.
And you'll never be recognised by the employer.
So you are nobody.

Any member could stand, but to do the job of GS they would need to have evidence of experience and be known to be capable, otherwise branches would not support their bid. So it is more likely that a challenge will come from a deputy.tramssirhc wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 20:43Any member could have stood for the position of general secretary. And stage3 you really make yourself look a plonker. Let's be honest, stick to your cut and paste threads and walk away. When you reply to posts you make yourself look a complete joke.
Why not concentrate on a crowd fund me thing, get Des a court case for unfair dismissal and prove me wrong.
Do something positive. Because everything else you do just makes you look like a moron. Makes the Pwrfc wsws look stupid.
You really could do so much better.

Thanks for the reports stage 3 , good to see workers getting organised. Why that worries some of the shouty posters so much is a mystery.
Still keep rattling all the right cages. Proves the message is being spread.
Keep up the good work
