No. Although it's surprising the number of posties who simply sign things without reading them first when the manager is stood impatiently next to them. It's understandable given the amount of forms that we have to sign though.

When I first started, on the very long list alongside names and starting date were dates of birth (for tiebreakers, presumably). That information is apparently still readily available as a new sheet finally got put up at the start of the year only to be promptly ripped down for including the latter. That'll be another three years to fix that, then.

Pay numbers are a good guide, but there are exceptions. The lower the number the higher the seniority.

At one time we had one up on the notice board, which was put up my management. Not sure why it was taken down.

Ours goes up and down on the notice board. I always take a pic when it's updated as it might not not last a week before rep has taken it down again.

The way we do it is everyone is placed into a leave group. The first year group 1 gets 1st dibs. The second year group 2 gets 1st dibs and group 1 goes to the back and so on

from my experience the list disappears coming up to a repick when those who appear perfectly fit are somehow now are disabled giving them the 1st pick of prime duties and also get away with doing 50% less indoor work than the rest for the the same pay, gaffa's know this but cannot do anything due to occy health reports and cannot get rid even though the posties are on a cushy number

Been chasing, for months, what seems to be an elusive seniority list.

We’ve had various excuses but the latest is the manager doesn’t know how to access one?
Does anyone have knowledge of the system and how easy it is to locate or run up?

No, it’s in alphabetical order.

Maybe gaffers can change the order then on whatever system they use? Because ours definitely wasn't alphabetical.
