Although we were sent home for the day when the red warning was in force, we did go on delivery the next day when it was still windy. Stuff that had been partially damaged the day before was at risk of falling. It was probably as dangerous the day after as it would have been during the red warning.

Tremendous fallout from yesterday's fiasco. Not that the company cares because it was supremely obvious this was yet more scrimping to make it to the financial new year.

We were told on Thursday by the manager not to go in. But Royal Mail didn’t officially declare any office in the red warning to be closed. Usual underhand way of operating.

If this affected delivery offices in London it would be resolved by now, Scotland gets ignored as usual.
