Meetings, committees, sub committees, policy documents, agenda, mechanisms, post implementation reviews, assistant secretary, branches, culture.
Pretty much every union buzzword was covered, sadly nothing will change. The union lost what little power it had in the last dispute. All the meetings they have with Royal Mail management is just for show.
2025 will be an interesting year, takeover and probable USO change to come over the next 12 months. My money is on Dave Ward taking his retirement next year as he knows the game is up.

It'll be a whole new company in 2025. Dave dont look like he's slowing down to me and if he does retire who is going to step up? Tony would be much of the same

The best bit is RM will still announce some major changes sooner or later and then the CWU will say they haven't agreed to the changes but we'll have to accept them anyway!!

I'd rather pull my fingernails out with electrified glowing hot tweezers than listen to a CWU podcast. I imagine its literally like listening to a bunch of overpaid sell outs reading a script that Royal mail gave them. No idea why people are still members tbh.
