Won't it be close enough to divide your current take home by 37 then multiply by 35 ?

You won't lose much. I reduced my hours from 32 to 30 at the beginning of April. I'm only £9 a week worse off. It's all pro rato, you pay less tax, less union fees etc.

It doesn't work like that, i reduced from 32 hours to 30. I'm only £9 a week worse off.

You will not miss the pay. You will still be full time though. So expected to pick up the slack.

Maybe at your office, but here 37hrs is deemed to be full time, anything less is deemed to be part time

1. With effect from 1st October 2018, 35hrs is the contract we will use for all future full time OPG contracts (whether they be new recruits or part time uplifts from existing employees).

2. Employees on the new 35hr contracts will be listed on PSP as full-time employees but using a different position code to that used for our full-time employees on 38hr contracts.

Irrelevant, ALL full time duties here are 37hrs, anything less than that is deemed to be a part time duty

So, at Xmas do the 35hr bods get the full £100 bonuses or pro-rata? Whatever RM spout, what bonus they get at Xmas will
give you the real world answer.

I work in the mail center and full time on a 35hr contract

edit - just rechecked last xmas i didnt get the full bonuses it was £5 less

so Space is right 35 is not really full time.

It is full time.
It is just less hours than a 37 hour contract, so obviously you get a smaller Xmas bonus.
