So if a Lady joins on new rubbish contract working with a guy on old contract, doing the same job.

Then surely that’s sex discrimination

Because it would be the same if a guy started on the new contract.

How is it sex discrimination?? Is it discrimination tat ex-phgs still get paid more than opg's.

Ex-PHG’s still being paid more than OPG’s is in the same file as people still being paid extra to train newbies but never do it.

Why does this continue?? It’s the inertia that starts to drive you nuts.

Yep, that’s not happened.

I think it is payable in offices that really struggle to get staff, I thought I'd read something on here recently that mentioned it, just had a look and found it

It's far more than a 2 tier workforce.

There's some DPR's that don't work Sundays.
There's some DPR's that got bonuses for joining.

As DPR's we were offered jobs recently doing the mail in the mornings, but still having to do 8.5 hours on a Sunday doing DPR, 5 out of 6 weeks, and 4 out of 6 Saturdays, and on a 30 hour contract, so 21.5 hours over 4 Days Mon - Say. With no paid breaks. For less pay than every other Postperson doing the same job.

I chased up the joining bonus. Turns out after 2 months of chasing HR up, that the "Processing Team", told HR I wasn't eligible as I came via an Agency. HR have refused to furnish me with an email contact address for the Processing Team, or any documentation that states this 'rule'.

New people aren't aware it's a different contract. Management aren't exactly going to mention it.
The Union aren't going to mention it either as it's an absolute red neck.

It's absolutely rotten to the core, and nobody seems to give a damn.
