Are customers meant to sign for items?

I do XP1 every single time haven’t had any complaints. Done this since the good old Covid days.

Yes. You won’t have any complaints until something ends up going missing and then you will be conduct coded as has happened twice in our office recently.

I thought you claimed you worked in a perfect office, it doesn't sound that way if staff are getting conduct coded when they aren't at most other offices.

I consider it a positive that people not doing the job correctly are conduct coded. It gives us all a bad name when posties are cutting corners and fraudulently signing for parcels.

Those type of complaints started happening on the regular at my old DO after 2020. Posties would get a bollocking/very occasionally conducted, but most of the time it was swept under the carpet tbh

You know what yellow, I spent just short of 21 years as a delivery postie. Seen at least 200 people come and go, some lasting half a shift, others years. The point is, for at least the last 10/15 years my DO didn't "have the staff" ever, but still the budget cuts kept coming and the walks kept getting longer.
