Hi Guys sorry if I’m a bit vague with this. Soooo RM will be rolling out performance app for Us to see on our phones showing how good (or bad) we’re doing?
How did you find this out? Not heard anything…yet
A guy at work has a mate in another office and He said
It’s coming. It will show things like if your failing to scan to core route etc.
I'm guessing they're planning on adding a tile to the people app so you can see the info you can view on the PDA, sounds like they could be expanding it though to show more detail.
Don't use the app, visit the 'app' on the web instead.
Apps give you a warning showing what permissions they need, but they can still do a lot of snooping even without permissions.
Like checking which other apps are installed, so they could easily see if you've got any sensitive apps installed (like jobhunting, gambling, loans, p*rnhub or whatever).
Some apps do a lot of fancy stuff, some apps just load a webpage (and possibly include spying).
The RM app just points your web browser to this page (and hopefully doesn't spy on you, but you've no way of knowing):

cheerful - that's what I do, get to it through the DuckDuckGo browser and use ublock origin on other browsers to give the
spying shysters as little data as I can.

You're my brother from another mother.
Every year it seems less of us value privacy. I switched over to DDG (search engine) a few years ago, but use Firefox with add-ons for ublock origin / DDG / Facebook Container.
Firefox on android recently started supporting add-ons (including ublock origin).

They don’t have my permission to put anything on my phone , I pay the bill not them. I would rather get rid of my phone than have any app they develop on it. In any case they don’t have my number and I won’t be giving them it either.
I agree wholeheartedly with your statement. But how do you check your wages every week?
My wife looks at the bank account every Friday and tells me what I’ve earned, I don’t do a lot of overtime if any so there isn’t much variation week to week.

What a load of nonsense, there's no way an RM app can start snooping around your own phone. I believe only the Israel government have produced such spyware and they are hardly likely to share it with RM!
I was asked why I had not read My Communications or My Performance on the PDA, I said I was not interested, so they must know if you've read it or looked
PDA kept booting me out so got back to office and asked if they had given my login to someone else (can't have 2 people logged in at same time)
Ahhhh yes sorry got told you weren't in until Saturday a casual has got a PDA with your login details.
1. This is deffo some sort of breach because my login details and pin should be personal
2. How can it be fair when someone has your login details that could go against you in the performance app.
Managers tell me I am slow when I am not.... what is a performance app going to tell me.... I rarely get pulled up for other issues.... it's always just managers moaning up me because I am 'slow'....
The reality is....I don't do overtime, I cut-off.... the issue isn't that I am slow, it's the fact they don't like that I cut off so want to try to force me to get everything done within my hours, which is impossible.

They definitely shouldn't be allowed to do that, I know they've done it at our office back in December with an agency guy, I think a more important aspect of this is if someone does a van check when using another person's login then proceeds to speed everywhere etc, that'll stay on the genuine users record.
We were told you'll be able to check a load of crap like vehicle idling times, if you've failed to SISO, if you've failed to scan TRACKED etc etc.....
BUT this is only to allow "Coaching" to help you improve in the future.
I replied, " Like most things in RM this may well have been introduced with good intentions .... BUT there's going to be some lazy, bonus hunting Managers out there that are going to use it to Bully & Harass staff".... looking him straight in the eye at the time.
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)

I'd ring up the IT helpline (the number is available through the phone icon on the PDA) to see if the pin number can be changed
and explain why. It's in the business standards. If the manager has a record of everyone's PIN and is not averse to giving them out they
need a kick up the proverbial. An office can get 'gen-user' PDA logins for the very purpose you describe.
