The regular £100 Xmas bonus and the £100 employee share bonus. Anybody know when they will be paying the extra to part timers who did full time hours over Xmas? No mention of it this year and it’s normally done at the start of January

According to the people app, it should've been paid on Wednesday for new contracts, and today for old contracts, wouldn't surprise me though if they were just hoping people wouldn't notice it's missing...

DId you get 'made up' officially? If so that element of the two 'Christmas bonuses' should have been in your pay packet 15 December.

The second part that is paid some time in January is based on how many hours over your contracted hours you did in the whole
of 2023 NOT just Christmas.

event of any Industrial Action the abatement criteria will be drawn from the PBS agreement.

The separate payment of £100 (pro rata for PT and 35hr full time employees) agreed in the
National Joint Statement - New Incentive Arrangements June 2012 will also be paid on Friday,
15th December. As in previous years, any necessary top up payments for Part Time or 35 hr
Full time employees will be made in January 2024 in accordance with the actual hours worked
at standard rate, beyond contractual during 2023

Got nothing but didn't expect anything as our walks have been well and truly butchered ,i would of had to do a 12 hour day everyday for 5 weeks to get the bonus ,i worked my ass off as usual at xmas and got nothing,how to motivate a workforce,morale is so low people now do as little as possible,great bit of management.

I got "made up" for Christmas, the bonus was paid all at the same time and when everyone else's did. I've known them not to give it in the past. You need to chase it up.

I’m full time but some part time colleagues who did full time hours (and more) said they had not yet received the top up on their pro rata bonus.

Your colleagues need to check their payslips to see if their hours actually got made up officially and that they got the bonus or did
they just work FT hours or more as OT. Woudn't put it past managers just to say 'Can you work extra' for Xmas and then 'forget' to make people up
or say 'I just meant as normal OT'. Now we don't get paper pay slips it's easy to forget or not notice what's happened.

The top up in January is for the average OT (up to 37 hours) worked throughout the whole year. So although they might have worked loads of hours up to Xmas if they didn't get any/much OT during the summer then that brings the average OT throughout the whole year down and they may have barely earned anything noticeable.

You can't access payslips on the app at the moment (it's down until Tuesday for 'essential maintenance' FFS!) so I can't check either.

That's interesting - now the payslip app is back I've checked my payslips and there is no top up shown.

Checked last years payslip and it was paid week 41/23, 13 Jan and was listed as Incentive Underpin Payment. Wasn't enough to buy
a pint and a packet of crisps but it was what I expected from the average OT (up to 37) worked throughout the year.

This year was expecting something similar (even if only a couple of quid) but a big fat zero is curious to say the least. Don't know if I can
be arsed looking through all last years payslips to work it out.

Seems like RM and the Union have scrapped the underpin to put the squeeze on the long serving part timers. I doubt the new recruits receive it.

The main part of the Underpin (pro-rata for me) was paid in Dec, just the top up missing.
