In this special edition of RMtv, Chief Operating Officer, Alistair Cochrane, explains more about the network window and the reasons why we are making changes.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

For sending stuff abroad yes. For 99.99% of UK deliveries it'll be by road. Got to keep up appearances with the green agenda remember

Off the record? It’s in the agreement that was presented to members.

Is that what they've told you it's going to be at your office?

A few quotes up someone says it's announced Feb 19th.

I’m referring to the attitude of managers with regard the family friendly element. It won’t be happening, there will be no negotiation, the start time will move and you can like it or lump it it’s what “we” agreed.

Lol do you mean can they afford to pay less staf, fail more letters and concentrate more on clearing parcels 7 days a week? Yep

15 mins to 90mins is a big difference. Yet another disparity between various DO's that make working at one a completely different experience to working at another.

It'll probably be down to how far away the local MC is away from the RDCs and superhubs. No idea on how they plan on routing the stuff, whether it'll just go through RDCs or if it'll also go through the superhubs
