Our manager is refusing to talk about it at all, he only said it was an ill conceived idea that should not have been implemented and he walked off shaking his head, so i guess thats a no for us then!

I will make sure I send Dave Ward a thank you note. Am I supposed to be thanking them for negotiating worse terms and conditions as well.LouBarlow wrote: ↑02 Jan 2024, 21:15Or maybe it will be like the time when people were saying we wouldn’t get the payments tied to the agreement? Also your colleague shares ‘scam’ is the reason you have received double your regular Christmas bonus in the years since they were a thing.rubberbond wrote: ↑02 Jan 2024, 19:45pLouBarlow wrote: ↑31 Dec 2023, 09:35I’ll let you know when I get mine.roadrunner bill wrote: ↑31 Dec 2023, 07:32I take this was a scam, because there no mention of a payment date...
Or maybe you won’t get one if it’s a scam. Colleague shares anyone?
Something else to thank the union for.

I’m sure a note thanking them for saving your job might be appreciated.rubberbond wrote: ↑04 Jan 2024, 15:45I wil” make sure I send Dave Ward a thank you note. The union has to stay ahead of prospective draconian trade union legislation by being so timid that you'd think the legislation was already in place. Err... checkmate.rubberbond wrote: ↑04 Jan 2024, 15:45I wil” make sure I send Dave Ward a thank you note. Am I supposed to be thanking them for negotiating worse terms and conditions as well.

I’m sure it would be if they had actually done as you say , perhaps you could enlighten me as to how exactly he saved my job. Not been on a stage warning ever , nor been subjected to disciplinary measures.LouBarlow wrote: ↑04 Jan 2024, 16:52I’m sure a note thanking them for saving your job might be appreciated.rubberbond wrote: ↑04 Jan 2024, 15:45I wil make sure I send Dave Ward a thank you note.
