Anyone work out how many people have left
for us to get an extra £107?
c12% is the difference between the original amount and now but don't know if that equates to 12% of the workforce leaving. Doesn't sound too un-realsitc.

The MC sell out bonus.
MC and RDC staff combined are outnumbered by delivery staff by at least 2:1, it's more likely these days to be 3:1. The deal was voted in by delivery staff, we (MC & RDC staff combined) effectively didn't have any say in it
Delivery has been decimated over the last 10 years. No full time positions have been filled or replaced, that left a sizable part time workforce that had nothing to gain. They are never getting their hours increased, never going to earn full bonuses, even though they are doing the majority of the delivery.

The only thing left for them was a bribe, Which they unfortunately took .

Why wouldn't they receive this money if it's from the Pension scheme?

It wasn't a bribe, that is hyperbole. It was a lump sum plain and simple, generously granted from the pension scheme, from a self defeating strike position that wasn't serving anybody.
Even David Ward, Terry Pullinger and the CWU came to realise that eventually.
This loose talk of blood money and bribes is Fake News.

RM & the CWU realised there was a real danger of the deal being rejected without a financial incentive, they wouldn't have offered it otherwise

Neither of you really understand how voting works.
Everyone had one vote.
There was no block voting.
MC staff don't speak with one voice and neither do delivery staff.
Everyone had the same say in it.
It wasn't an MC sellout and it wasn't voted in by delivery staff.
The deal was voted in by the membership.

It would be just as pointless to say the deal was voted in by men or people with brown hair.
