Just Changing subject a second
Ms Brown is still alive !!!!!!
Had heard more noise from a dormouse in derelict church
Chief People Officer ????????????????????????????????????????????????
Losing staff everyday-unable to replace due to crap hours re weekends-less money than others employed-dropped on worst routes/limited training.
Turn the company around ??
Not with any of current senior personnel-as they have created the mess with simply appalling decisions/inability to rectify mistakes
It cannot be turned around re people there

You're still going to take this "blood money " as you call it, because you are a hypocrite
See you in Spoons on the 29th

It's probably been answered before but, do you have to be employed on the 29th to get the bung?
I have a few potential jobs lined up in the meantime!

No the cut off date was 4 August if you were looking to leave to still get it, However if you joined RM after 26th March 2023 then you wont get it.sixfoottwo wrote: ↑12 Sep 2023, 23:04It's probably been answered before but, do you have to be employed on the 29th to get the bung?

To receive the lump sum employees will need to be employed by Royal Mail on 4 August
2023– payment date being 29 September 2023 (for both weekly and monthly paid
employees)
Employees must have been employed on 26 March 2023 to qualify for the escrow payment
(qualifying period). If you joined RM after 26 March 2023 you are not entitled to a payment.

You’ll enjoy the money like the rest of us because you are the biggest hypocrite on this forum.
Side note - always interesting to wake up to see posts deleted overnight. Considering the abuse dished out by some of the less sophisticated posters here that is left unchallenged it makes you curious as to what was said.

Are either of these lump sum payments pensionable?

The CWU indicated the new CEO will be appointed imminently. It would not be a surprise if he or she appointed some new faces to create their own "Team".

Yep, bad wording on my part, apologies!Dexydog wrote: ↑12 Sep 2023, 19:18yellowbelly wrote: ↑12 Sep 2023, 18:4712% 'normal' NI deduction on your pay between 242 and 967 for the week.
The 'extra' 2% NI on the amount above your pay for the week over the 967.
You only pay 2% on any amount over 967.
Not an additional 2%.
This might be negated by going into the higher tax bracket for that week, but you will get this back.
Either way you actually pay 10% LESS ni over 967 per week.
