Oooh what will We do about it ? Go on strike again at Christmas?
striking at christmas would have worked if it was at least a 7 day strike or all out

1 day here and there had no impact especially when alot were doing OT
we didn't strike the whole week between xmas and new year, that was the f**k up (another one)
An you think that would have worked?

We’re due a very big announcement this week. 5 day week or administration?
Nah. Change in the biscuits. I believe Chocolate Hob Nobs are now the preference :whistle :whistle
Don't you know we are losing £1 million pounds an hour, you can have out of date Rich Tea and dunk it. Irresponsible behaviour, suggesting Chocolate Hob Nobs.

An you think that would have worked?
simply put yes

It would have produced a better surrender agreement than the one we got

Sorry, I've been a wafer for so long. Wonder what the big announcement is??
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I don't really care if it worked, but it would've made me feel good.

Well we will never know if it would have worked - CWU never had the guts to try it

Getting back to the big announcement, and if it is regarding the USO and affordability, I wonder if this is why they delayed lump sums until the end of September - a few days later they announce the 'temporary' suspension of the USO and blame it on greedy workforce...

Fingers crossed it's administration 🤞🤞🤞
If it's administration then that could be all our allowances gone with everyone on minimum wage, paid breaks gone. Mandatory driving in DOs. Our contracts would basically be thrown out the window
Cant put us on minimum wage that would be a breach of contract.
