You've at least got job security in DOs, many jobs in MCs are probably going to be automated out of existence in the next decade. That same automation will probably eventually sort the work down to a level where delivery staff will just about spend their entire shift out on delivery
Surely your 'job security' at the MCs will be to easily transfer to a DO then? Considering DO posties are leaving left right and centre now.

Easy to get a transfer to Delivery. Always has been, always will be :dance

RM wouldn't want any of us in deliveries, they'd want the newbies on the inferior contracts or casuals

Not if you're a Non Driver because in case you haven't noticed they are doing their best to make things "awkward" for existing Delivery Posties who don't drive(Cannot put them on Sundays to deliver them Packets without a van)
