My guess is the £500 will get paid next week and the back money more likely on the 28th which means 17 weeks worth.
Something to look forward too. If there is one good thing about a strike, it is the back pay and any lump sums due.
The public sectors workers are all been given a 6% rise too, policemen, junior doctors and teachers, so we posties have done not bad, considering 6% rise now, on top of the 2% rise we got in April too.
Did all those other you jobs mentioned have their terms and conditions slashed as well gor their 6% ?
True. Someone I know got an 8% pay rise last year because their company was profitable. Our company was profitable due to the pandemic and we got f**k all
We only get pay rises if we accept changes.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

That is why the majority of us need to be Unionised. We all call them, but imagine what it would be like if there was no Union?

What terms and conditions slashed ? You must be living on the dark side of the moon.
We won this dispute, see my earlier posts.
Look at the all the lolly that is now coming our way, and job security for the rest of our lives.
Be happy and stop all this pitiful nit picking. Some people are never happy with their lot.
Give us the lolly you wally

Lump sums needs to be quicker. Nothing is set in stone.
You've waited this long on the lolly you're clearly excited about, surely you can wait a few more weeks!!! As you mentioned yourself before "Some people are never happy with their lot!!"
I have it on good authority they are trying to speed at least one of the lump sums ups.
Whether this happens remains to be seen, but we are definitely getting the money either way, despite rumours to the opposite effect.
