I won`t be far behind you. My body simply won`t take the shitstorm that is Xmas. Quite honestly, I don`t see why I should have to.Shadedpostie wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 16:58Cool, at this point couldn't of given a s**t whatever happens to this company. You have a union that fumbled the bag majorly, a dumbass board of dipshits that somehow turned a £750 million profit into the sorry state it's in now, and also thick as pig s**t posties that continue to come into work for f**k all, rush around like headless chicken and then moan about more being put on them. Be taking the money and getting the hell outta this circus.

Re: The vote is in : 75.8% yes
The Cwu have never addressed the issue of why they allowed the realignments to continue despite the fact they had a signed joint agreement to pause them while talks continued. Dave Ward is now saying that they will be allowed back into negotiations surrounding future realignments. Seriously does anyone really think Management care in the slightest about what the cwu say. Its just all words just like the win the ballot win the dispute mantra. I totally understand that many.people have voted yes because they have either lost faith in the cwu or they didn't think we could get a better deal-but one thing is inevitable and that's that RM will be back for more concessions within the next year and we will now be powerless to stop it because of the CWUs refusal to back that signed agreement.

If you post on a public forum, expect a response. The hypocrisy of stamping your feet because the vote hasn’t gone your way, claiming the union has sold you out and how you are leaving it, while benefitting financially is off the charts.worktotime wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 17:17well yeh thats my 16 days strike money and the 2 days leave i lost for stood on the street , and whats it got to do with you ?LouBarlow wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 17:01I’m sure you will still be pocketing the lump sum and pay rise happily enough though?worktotime wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 16:52just emailed them to cancel , i might as well save myself £14 a month and fight my own corner like i always have done , cwu all talk and no action![]()

As a matter of fact the union has sold us out. Its not a matter of opinion. The devil is in the detail.

So now we have the ballot results. Result shouldn't be a surprise. We can collect the crumbs thrown at us and start looking for another job.
I will be making this mediocre pay rise go a little further by getting rid of cwu subs. I am sure many of you guys and girls are doing the same or at least are thinking about it. What can CWU offer anymore? They have failed us massively.

I voted No but accept the result of the ballot. From what I can gather the only thing dropped from RMs original offer is the commit to deliver? I'm really unsure whether to remain a union member

Shouty people in shouty shocker.
Obviously not representative of the membership though.
We're in a dark place.
I genuinely think we would have been in a much darker place the longer this dispute had gone on but there's nothing to celebrate or gloat about in any of this.
There is a lesson we need to learn from the whole social media thing though, echo chambers like Facebook and Twitter or even this site are not a good barometer of progress.
How many of those promoting a No vote bothered to talk to the members in their offices? Constantly posting Vote No!!!! and calling people cowards, idiots and sellouts on social media obviously gained zero traction.
Only dead fish follow the current

Re: The vote is in : 75.8% yes
Or, and forgive me if I'm a percentage or two out, over 83% of eligible voters said yes or abstained. Less than 17% voted no.yellowbelly wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 17:10Based on the turnout and % of yes votes just over 50.86% of eligible voters said yes, the others said no/didn't vote,
so it's hardly a ringing endorsement for this deal!
Statistics can say anything you want.

Think it'll only be a matter of time before RM look to bring in commit to deliver anyway and anything else that was droppedpieoftheday wrote: ↑11 Jul 2023, 19:13I voted No but accept the result of the ballot.
