The Cwu have never addressed the issue of why they allowed the realignments to continue despite the fact they had a signed joint agreement to pause them while talks continued. Dave Ward is now saying that they will be allowed back into negotiations surrounding future realignments. Seriously does anyone really think Management care in the slightest about what the cwu say. Its just all words just like the win the ballot win the dispute mantra. I totally understand that many.people have voted yes because they have either lost faith in the cwu or they didn't think we could get a better deal-but one thing is inevitable and that's that RM will be back for more concessions within the next year and we will now be powerless to stop it because of the CWUs refusal to back that signed agreement.

Based on the turnout and % of yes votes just over 50.86% of eligible voters said yes, the others said no/didn't vote,
so it's hardly a ringing endorsement for this deal!

Or, and forgive me if I'm a percentage or two out, over 83% of eligible voters said yes or abstained. Less than 17% voted no.

This was a consultive ballot ie the union have to sign this off ie another week and four to six for the pay out and then the exdous!

Think it'll only be a matter of time before RM look to bring in commit to deliver anyway and anything else that was dropped
