Think it means that there has to be a balance between earnings and job satisfaction.Looking back in hindsight there was job satisfaction although didn't really realize it so much at the time.Money isn't everything though as I struggle week to week but I refuse to work my day off even though I know my duty will fail as being there 6 days a week is no good for your physical or mental health.aiden01 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 22:10How can you not let money rule your life? Re: what is happening at Brighton Delivery Office ?
I dont think voting yes is a short term outlook because it plans out the future for the next two years as well as wage rises,we are lucky to get that out of a private corporation which has ruthlessly persued the teardown and start again option.guardianangel wrote: ↑09 Jul 2023, 15:43Voting yes is a short term outlook surely, and sounds like you've already surrendered, anyway we are not getting anywhere everyone has their own thoughts we will find out this week the road we are heading down, its a win win for me a yes vote and i get the cash and i get 6 months to find another job a No and we live to fight another day and im always up for that ,whatever happens i'll always work because im a worker.richietns wrote: ↑09 Jul 2023, 09:40Its not a case of you letting RM take the piss they gonna do it anyway yes OR no vote the key is getting something out of it,you seem to have a short term outlook.guardianangel wrote: ↑09 Jul 2023, 08:44Your choice, never worry about losing a job, jobs come and go, all through my life something always turns up,too many negative people in life so don't let these arrogant bosses drag you down,i will always vote yes for a ballot on industrial action because that means bosses are trying to screw you over and that's not for meaiden01 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 22:10How can you not let money rule your life? Re: what is happening at Brighton Delivery Office ?
That raises the questions, do the directors not realise the impact of their cost based revisions on delivery offices? Or is this just a knee jerk reaction to an MP actually doing their job?mozilla wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 16:26https://carolinelucas.com/latest/royal- ... y-failures
This came out , directors visited and the s**t hit the fan .,
I wonder how they will spin it so that it’s our fault?

That only works if you expect RM to adhere to the agreement. IMO, a yes vote will see RM discard the agreement in a matter of weeks. Only a fool would trust RM
