What's not been mentioned in the new agreement

Post by royalanneb »

So no compulsory redundancies…….but what would the package be if there were redundancies ?

No mention of VR redundancy package…….is this the same as the one at the end of last year that many of us agreed with?

CSP workers being asked to reduce their hours……..is there any mention of any compensation?

Am I talking rubbish or are these valid questions?

No replies to my post. I’m assuming the agreement does not cover these questions and therefore if it’s not in the agreement…….

3.1.3 in the Agreement states that the MTSF terms remain the same with the exception of the VR terms ( IE the most important bit ! ) So instead of a maximum of 104 weeks pay it's now a maximum of 39 weeks pay.

6.4.3 : IHR from 1/8/23 is 16 weeks plus PILON plus your outstanding holiday. The fact that they include the holiday you're entitled to as a benefit is pretty unbelievable to me

They fully intend to close them, first step is automatic redelivery, second step will be even more reduced opening hours, third step will be them saying no one is using the CSP so we're going to have to close it.

What will happen to the staff is going to be brutal, if there's a mail centre nearby then you may get a transfer, if there isn't and there is no suitable other work they'll hope you leave, it won't be pleasant.

What happened to the official VR proposal sent through the people’s app for posties that accepted 39 hours VR plus £6000. It did make it clear you would only get the extra £6000 in the future if you said YES there and then.Is that still the case?

Only half of the people in our office that got VR got the 6k extra because they werent offered it until months after those who did - they were spitting feathers
