Accepting the deal is a recommendation and as such I would say don't like the deal but if anyone can get a better deal willing to recommend it as long as Royal Mail are on board with it!
Change your tune. Is that all you got to say, come up with a better deal? Your posts are non constructive. You have said the same thing many times and then you attack people who want to defend their rights. I respect your decision to accept and I won't convince you otherwise because a no vote is already a lock. This dispute will run all year pal ;)

This is for anyone contemplating voting for this travesty.

I Implore everyone to please vote NO.

We simply cannot sit by and allow this company to destroy all our predecessors very hard earned conditions.
This agreement gives us nothing but degraded terms and conditions that will lead to more bullying and dismissals for failing to reach new targets tracked by PDA. With an insulting "pay rise" that will not cover the cost of inflation for last year or the next 2 years.
In other words they value you less now than they did a year ago and will value you less in the years to come, whilst demanding more from you. Ask yourself if you think that is what your very lifeblood is worth?

We would be better off with no agreement and living to fight another day, rather than to accept this surrender document. A no vote does not necessarily mean more strikes, but it would give a message to the Union and the company that we are not willing to give up so easily. Which may focus minds.
This "agreement has crossed all our Union`s red lines, why should we accept it.
Every one of RMG`s wet dreams has been realized in this agreement, if very slightly toned down for NOW! But they will always come back for more sooner rather than later.

The threats of administration is the biggest bluff out there, even if they tried it the government has the last say, and would simply not allow it as it would be politically impossible on many levels.
I could go on, there are so many reasons this deal has to be rejected.

Just think, given everything that has happened since covid what in this deal is an improvement, which we are rightly owed, over what we already have. You may then just understand why this must be rejected.

Postal workers over the last 3 decades have been a strange lot.

Every poor deal that has been presented to them, that has seen conditions at work worsen, has been voted in. Every. Single. One.

I have never worked with people who have consistantly voted against their own best interests, and instead, voted for the best interests of people like Leighton & Crozier, green, and now this bugger, Thompson, as I have with this company.

I've no doubt whatsoever, that postal workers will revert to type, and vote this shitty deal in, making this job worse, and much more of a unpleasant daily experience.

I'm just glad my time is almost done.

VOTE NO!!

Yes young man, by doing this you can loose your job when the company collapses, then loose your house when you cant afford the mortgage but at least you wont have any bills to worry about!
You can eat scraps of food given to you by strangers, but dont worry your kids and wife will be fine because they will leave you and go and live with an adult who has a job!

Vote no!!
Thankfully, I don’t get to vote. But if I did I’d probably go for YES but only because I have Never believed Royal Mail would budge that much from the beginning.
The next revision things will be worse.
I think it’s time to accept that change is finally here or you can fight a lost cause.
I find myself in unchartered territory here in that i actually agree with you FB, well up to a point, i will vote no. Its all downhill from here for me as i will now have to take on the FB mantra and diss the union every chance i get....... Nah it isnt going to happen.
I dont think RM will budge, well not unless they are made too and the next revision will be worse, but then again its hardly rocket science for that one, when has a revision ever been good its always worse hence why they happen more and more.
As for the defeatist "accept the change" and "fight a lost cause" its as well our ancestors didnt have that attitude or we would all be talking a different language. Sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand and say "do your worst" i respect your opinion as that is how you have been consistantly on here, but that doesnt mean i agree.
The deal, as you have recognised, is not acceptable in its current form.
