Sick pay
Complete sell out , not only have the union accepted ssp for first 2 days of 2nd absence, they have also allowed the review stages to be made more strict, which will result in more conduct cases and more dismissals. They prioritised keeping legacy payments for the old boys rather than looking out for the whole workforce . They’ve also not told us the full story on the 30 minute flexibility issue because it’s not committing to voluntary or mandatory on this issue until July when this deal will already be in anyway.Shambles of an agreement.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Only the 1st review stage is more strict , the other 2 are actually more lenient.chickenwittle wrote: ↑22 Apr 2023, 08:35Complete sell out , not only have the union accepted ssp for first 2 days of 2nd absence, they have also allowed the review stages to be made more strict, which will result in more conduct cases and more dismissals. They prioritised keeping legacy payments for the old boys rather than looking out for the whole workforce .
