lets make it a MASSIVE no vote so they have to get round the table again and if they dont fook the job ! accept this turd deal and your job will not be worth doing in the future !
Getting around the table again isn't going to happen mate, that's why the deal is so bad. It's this or...what? I don't know, I'd like them to explain that option to us.

So just to be clear. The seasonal variation begins this fall (Autumn 2023), working 24 minutes extra a day for no extra pay, that we'll only get back if we continue to work for the company until next summer?

So for 14 weeks this winter we'll be working 2 hours extra each week, for 28 hours in total, for no extra pay?

I don't think I will be doing this. If the company wants me to work extra, it'll have to start banking those hours with shorter summer weeks THIS summer, not owing me hours until next summer.

It’s this or Royal Mail bring all these changes in anyway.

I'm not sure I can vote yes to this deal.
25 years in the job and I was prepared to take a serious hit but that's the best they can come up with.
I honestly think they may lose the vote if someone like me is seriously considering no.

Is the 30 mins flex still optional like it’s always been ? The agreement is very vague about this.

Not only are they talking ssp from 2nd absence, they’ve also changed the review stages in royal mails favour.

10% over 3 years is a 3.33% pay rise.
I assume '10% over 3 years' simply means that there will be no talks on pay for another 3 years, so obviously no more increases until then....

You are not getting a 3.33% pay rise, sir..... you have already had 2%, you will be topped up another 6% and the £500 lump sum is the other 2%...

2% + 6% + 2% (lump sum) = a 10% pay rise this year.

You won't be getting a lump sum in following years, so instead they will top you up the extra 2% in april 2024.

Why on earth has the Union agreed to £500 lump sum when they were offered the option of £1500 with the same 8% pay rise over 2yrs? Are they bloody thick or what? They sound it and are now showing it!!
I can’t understand it either, they say there in talks about another lump sum but that obviously won’t happen

This is ridiculous. Job is finished, cwu is finished. This will be a minimum wage job in 3years time. In London and around expensive parts of the country it won't even be enough just to survive. Government is gaslighting living costs crisis allowing profiteering, bringing in ulez into whole London. Unions are powerless these days. The system is rigged to allow aggressive capitalism and exploitation.

This deal is an insult afer all these months of strikes, after royal mail bullying and lying.

Massive NO from me.

For me they can fold tomorrow as well as cwu. Wage they will be paying in 2 years and the amount of physical work you'd have to do for it. I would rather get part time minimum wage shite and get universal credits before I'll lose my ability to walk.

I'm almost believing that the CWU want the deal to be rejected, by not opting for the £1500 lump sum. Maybe they think if it gets rejected it'll strengthen their position when they enter negotiations again.

Royal Mail won’t spend another year negotiating anything, they’ll bring this in by executive action.

2% thats already gone, had it already.
6% from Apr 23 plus £500 (which is equivalent to a one off 2% if you're paid £25k)
2% from April 24.

On the £25k example,
At the end of March 25 you will have had a salary increase up to £27,030

If the union had gone for the £1500 option, the salary at march 25 would have been exactly the same but you would have got an extra £1000 now

Think Ward needs to go back to school and re take maths.
