ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ! its a no from me - 16.30 finish time , 3.3% rise and a crappy £500 lump sum (taxed) - got to be honest DW seemed more interested in the fact that the CWU was still in the workplace ! SHOCKING DEAL !

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Not choosing the 1500 was a mistake. I can see them losing a lot of votes with the £500 lump sum.
That’s certainly interesting.

I thought they’d come up with the two options to create a three way ballot, making it harder for a ‘no’ vote to be returned.

Ten per cent for this year ,2024 and 2025?.£500 also.
2% already given to us April last year
6% April this year
2% April next year

Its really not good enough.

Still 9 months vr?
There will be no Vr. Enough will leave that they won't need it.

It’s worth noting, and this is a point that needs to be put across to all members.

If a ‘NO’ vote was returned by the membership - that would effectively make the CWU executives positions untenable.

Looks like RM didn’t need to use their war chest to destroy the union: the CWU have done it to themselves…

It’s a bad deal. Mainly because the union have said for months that the deal was derisory and are now recommending to its members that they should accept an even worse deal.

Am I right in reading that on top of the annualised working patterns that there will also be 30 mixture flexing also?
If so then that’s almost in the the commit to deliver category.
So we could be working 24 minutes over and have flexing also?
Am I reading that right?
Absolutely shocking deal.
