What about the walks which go overtime to complete each day even in the summer time?

It's not flexi time though is it? You won't ever have to work more than your contracted hrs unless you want to. It's like longs and shorts in the week we've all had for years now. Work longer wed/thur shorter mon/tues . Think most people who have had it easy are pxssed off now that they actually are now going to have to work their full hrs. Things change, you have to change with it , within reason of course . How many of us go to the supermarket on a Sunday? Something that was not possible yrs ago because they didn't open. Those workers have had to change to allow us to go shopping on Sundays. Of course, the way management are going about things is not the right way to do it either. however , change IS coming like it or not.

I use to work in retail and was in on Sundays and you can opt out you have to give 3 months notice.

When they are proposing to move start times 60-90 minutes later but want you to come in 24 minutes early on heavy months is that not contradicting itself? They wanted to push times later to use trains instead of planes? And there is no mention but I presume on days you do 24 minutes less we will all just start even later? That’s full timers starting anywhere up to 9:30? Who makes this sh!t up?

Not the end of the world if your ‘flexing up’ entails being stood at the IPS frame or throwing in a duty. A different story if it means trudging around a sink estate at 4.50pm on a Saturday tea-time in the middle of December

I know that. I also know that their proposed finish time/last letter is being moved forward to 4.30pm. Hence,it doesn’t take much to imagine RM expecting us to be out delivering in the winter time at 5pm during the busier/colder months
