Re: Flexi Hours
What about the walks which go overtime to complete each day even in the summer time?

Re: Flexi Hours
It's not flexi time though is it? You won't ever have to work more than your contracted hrs unless you want to. It's like longs and shorts in the week we've all had for years now. Work longer wed/thur shorter mon/tues . Think most people who have had it easy are pxssed off now that they actually are now going to have to work their full hrs. Things change, you have to change with it , within reason of course . How many of us go to the supermarket on a Sunday? Something that was not possible yrs ago because they didn't open. Those workers have had to change to allow us to go shopping on Sundays. Of course, the way management are going about things is not the right way to do it either. however , change IS coming like it or not.

Re: Flexi Hours
When they are proposing to move start times 60-90 minutes later but want you to come in 24 minutes early on heavy months is that not contradicting itself? They wanted to push times later to use trains instead of planes? And there is no mention but I presume on days you do 24 minutes less we will all just start even later? That’s full timers starting anywhere up to 9:30? Who makes this sh!t up?

Re: Flexi Hours
No problem working my full hours, have done since park & loopy was launched. My issue is that management will purposely make our summer days shorter (streaming mail, leaving non-tracked etc) thus making sure that we owe them time in the winter months.rambo1 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 10:35It's not flexi time though is it? Not the end of the world if your ‘flexing up’ entails being stood at the IPS frame or throwing in a duty. A different story if it means trudging around a sink estate at 4.50pm on a Saturday tea-time in the middle of December
“Shorts,in this weather?!”
“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”
“What’s she been ordering now?”

Re: Flexi Hours
The good old RM trial. Tricky Ricky said we’ll be flexing up at the start of duty for the first year…hmmmm….let’s see how long that lasts?!Clairedarep wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 10:50When they are proposing to move start times 60-90 minutes later but want you to come in 24 minutes early on heavy months is that not contradicting itself? Yes I did. Additional hours at the front end,for the first year - on a trial basis. You think they’ll be at the front end for year two?mjd24 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 11:08Did you not watch the video above explaining how it will work?Cedar_Room wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 11:00No problem working my full hours, have done since park & loopy was launched. Re: Flexi Hours
I know that. I also know that their proposed finish time/last letter is being moved forward to 4.30pm. Hence,it doesn’t take much to imagine RM expecting us to be out delivering in the winter time at 5pm during the busier/colder monthsmjd24 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 11:45Its 24 minutes a day though.Cedar_Room wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 11:17Yes I did.
