Royal Mail ‘feet on the street’ – Royal Mail wins free advertising on Sky, airing today!
In August, we announced that Royal Mail’s advert to promote our unique environmental credentials and feet-on-the-street business model had successfully been shortlisted for the Sky Zero Footprint Fund.
The prize secures us £250,000 of free Sky advertising after we progressed to the final alongside four other companies; Ecosia, Homethings, Serious Tissues and WUKA.
The advert, an inspiring and humorous dramatisation of our Steps to Zero journey, shows why Royal Mail’s carbon footprint is lighter than the rest, and features @Tochino Cornwell, one of our very own posties from Manchester South Delivery Office.
You can see the advert on Sky channels and Sky Video on Demand between 27 February and 27 March.
Our advert leans into one of the core strengths of our Steps to Zero environmental strategy – our unique ‘feet-on-the-street’ business model, and our ambitious plan to reduce our average emissions per parcel from 205gCO2e today to 50gCO2e, on our way to Net Zero by 2040.
Thank you to the marketing and Environment, Social and Governance teams for all their work to develop the concept and securing this free advertising opportunity for Royal Mail.
Hope you enjoy getting the first look and let us know if you spot us on Sky!
