In my original reply to the OP I stated that scanning undelivered Tracked as indoor>undelivered>inaccessible was the manager’s sanctioned solution.

Therefore, any ‘deceit’ is on their head with zero come back on me.

If you're conducted for it how are you going to prove you did it on your manager's instructions if he deny's it? Who do you think the business support if that did ever happen you or your manager?

Not much you can do if they overload you. Just take it back and deliver it the next day.

The correct procedure is

indoor>undelivered>delivery not attempted

Inaccessible is used though as the above effects their performance figures (bonus), inaccessible doesn’t.
