Caught in a lie contrary to evidence that the committee has that ST intervened "personally" in a disciplinary hearing.
But he did not give the said evidence... That is just like the Corbyn saga... The evidence was probably not solid?
There was evidence obviously, they could have asked to see it if they thought the committee was lying.
I actually thought this was a really major point.
They clearly have evidence to the contrary but let ST dig the hole first.
Maybe nothing will come of it...but interesting none then less.

McCauley basically said we had a contingency plan to prioritise parcels over letters during Industrial action and the pandemic due to the volume issue of parcels.

He failed to say we leave letters in the frames because we don't have to pay overtime against that work, nor does it impact on cost due to how much sickness we have by deliberately failing letters.

The covid issue was a green light to get an inch from OFCOM and stretch it to a mile...lies perpetuated during periods of Industrial action.

They're a f*ckin disgrace.

Liar liar, pants on fire.

Darren Jones knows they are lying. He’s been sent the evidence.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The video I just put up, above this post explains evidence.

The old tracked dashboard told OFCOM we were delivering 99.9% + of tracked items on time which had reached the office.. the letters had no scan requirements so we could fail tens of thousands of those letters on a daily basis without anybody knowing.

It's a cost saving exercise nothing more nothing less.

Even facing overwhelming evidence to the contrary, those three muppets blagged it for the full hearing. Shameless.

Thompson came a bit more prepared this time.He wobbled a bit especially on sick pay deductions. Thompson was honest enough to admit that all the changes are being railroaded in because he hasn’t got the time to gradually do it over a number of years.Don’t think it achieved much other than what we already knew.

Does anyone know what the committee can actually do? If anything at all? And why were they under oath? Seems serious?

Are the thousands of emails going to be sent to ofcom and is ofcom going to actually do anything? or should ofcom be scrapped as they are about as useful as Simon Thompson at doing their job properly.

3 lying scumbags you wouldn't even trust to walk your nan across the street!

Keith Williams reminds me of the t*sser that used to run Pimlico plumbing for some reason....?

What became very apparent is the long term goal is to bin letters completely and they are doing their utmost to shrink that side of the business rather than promote it.

The end result of that will be more than half the number of staff needed and huge profits and dividends for the shareholders

Upto seven years in prison for perjury.
