A quarter didn’t even bother to vote? So it’s basically a 75% YES then?
Strange if you have the choice to vote but go out of your way to not vote either way…
Won’t bother me as I don’t strike but will be interesting if the union goes for 4/5 day strikes. Not sure the odd day here and there will do much.

Unreal ! so why vote yes ? you are trying to reap the benefits from your workmates industrial action ! as far as i am concerned you are lower than the lowest and i dont care what anyone says !Stryjo wrote: ↑16 Feb 2023, 16:43I voted yes but I don't intend to strike again.
I'm in a difficult financial situation and the last thing I want to do is waste money and hope that it can work out.
the company will surely not bend if it did not bend to the Christmas holidays.
If you don't have a family, you can go on strike as long as you want.

That's it we've won! No large parcels on walks, fittings all put back together as they were, no lapsing, free bacon butties before we go out, comfortable uniform and shoes, friendly approachable managers that care about our welfare, all by the time we get to work in the morning
oh and an extra £40 a week back dated for 12 months

It's not that difficult to understand.
You don't believe in the dispute enough to vote yes but you do believe in trade unions enough not to vote no.
It's not my thing but it is an understandable position.
Not everything is a polemic yes or no.

Exactly why I didnt vote, both sides are as bad as each other, the union need dismantling because they are useless and wont comprise, the board need dismantling because they wont open themselves up to other ideas other than 'DPD do it'.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑16 Feb 2023, 16:59It's not that difficult to understand.
