Demand that it is put in writing. Such a major change can’t be brought in and just explained by a manager to whomsoever happens to be at work that day.

It has to be in writing so that you know exactly what it means for your wage packet and hours.

Is it going to be that we're forced to work over in busy months ,winter, to claim back hours when it's less busy, summer? Or or with spring summer approaching ,is it going to be so easy we make 2 hours a day and RM can claim that back in winter? Traffic fluctuates even over a week. I can only speak for my office ,other than those morons that start in their own time people rarely get back early, maybe the odd Monday or Tuesday, so where will the hours come from for RM to claim back? Are RM going to 'manage' the flow of mail ?

Its simple if we win the ballot we have got to walk out and stay out and bring the company to a halt or at least have 3 or 4 days in a row,we will not reign these toerags back in by having 2 days here 2 days there,if you dont like the changes you either strike and hopefully bring us back from the brink or leave.

Sadly if not we either put up with it or leave ,our union and what they do next is our only hope for them and us,if there is ever a time to stand up and fight its now if you can't afford to strike or dont want to work under an Evri style regime its now time to leave.

Seriously who can afford to strike esp in this cost of living crisis.majority will hold out with 1 or 2 days but like i already said not what you are proposing.personally will strike as long as it takes but not too many in that position.

Our manager took us in a huddle today to inform us how the banking of annualised will work, you will be told daily depending on mail traffic what time you will be expected back to the office it should be up & running towards the end of April

Dont they have to change our contracts for this? And to change our contract dont we have to agree to that change?

EXACTLY!! So they have to put it in writing. They can’t simply do group huddles on something so major.

We do need some clarity on this. They are basically after making wholesale changes to our jobs,not just a few tweaks here & there. I realise this country is an absolute state,even so,employees do still have some protection….

Is this just called executive action? Our manager spent the first 3 days of this week in some Northampton super hub, loved telling us it's the future & we need to pull our socks up

It might be executive action but from what I understand an employer cannot change an employees contract without the employees agreement. See ACAS and GOV.UK

With many rounds being dismantled, split up and bits added to each and every remaining round in our office, I have no idea how they bank hours. Rounds will be 10 to 20 mins or more longer, we have no floats/day off cover and I have no idea if we ever will again, so we have to clear 2 day's worth of mail once a week....

I think it is more important than ever to never ever come back and sign out early. If there are zero early finishes, there is no time to be banked.

There are still people sneaking in to the office so the manager doesn’t see them and then going home early. Why are they still doing this? Their PDA is seeing everything and telling tales.

I don't think you are getting the banking of hours, you will be told what time to come back mail or no mail
