Well congratulations on your efforts of ostracizing yourself what an effort in human dignity that was!
Thank you very much.
If I win big rest assured I will be back on the picket line.
your not welcome go with your homie si and have a very merry Christmas.
That’s not very nice. And I will try and have a merry Christmas thanks. As soon as I finish work tomorrow I can put my feet up. It’s been a long few months.
As for you, I only wish you the best. Enjoy your extended break and hopefully 2023 is a good year.
It cannot be any worse can it hopefully this whole mess will be sorted out and we can deliver the service the whole nation expects and deserves! and all the best.

I hope you’re right… I have a feeling things may get slightly worse before they get better.
Time will tell.

Our tips were up this year. 400 quid between us, and loads of chocolates, bottle of whiskey and gin.

A lot of posties get nothing. I’m thankful for every kind gesture.

Anybody who crosses a picket line is going to have a very silent new year or two!
Only from the plastic militants. No loss. I’m not their to make friends.

As for tips this year I got £16, a scratcard, 4 small bottle of beers and some chocolate!

All much appreciated!
I take it someone tipped you a £1 or you won on the scratch card.
The worst tip I ever got was a handful of sticky coins held together by a half chewed sweet garnished with a couple of pubic hairs. Still, it’s the thought that counts.

Scratch card won nothing…. And the £1 in a small card someone had left me… she’s 94 bless her!

And your tip sounds disgusting. Do you deliver to ST house?

Christmas Tips: Always a very emotive subject, and I suppose the strikes & strike breakers haven't helped the situation. :hmmmm

My tips are down by about 50% but that's not surprising as most of my residents seemed unaware of the last two Strike Days when I suppose a lot of them would have tipped the postie just before Christmas.

TBH I don't think the SBs had much effect on the tips as they were mainly driving around just delivering parcels, and of course I suppose they got some tips from their Regulars. Which I've got no problem with. You generally find a lot of people collar you in the The New Year saying "I'd didn't catch you before Christmas... Here's your Christmas Card"! :cuppa
