You ever heard of Hearsay evidence and how courts interpret such evidence?
Hardly bad legal advice. It is irrelevant without something more to back it up

Hearsay is inadmissible, meaning that it is not permitted to go before a jury or magistrates at a trial as evidence to prove a matter, either for the prosecution or the defence

Hearsay is when you give evidence that you have been told by a third party that something is happening. If you testify that you have actually seen it happening first hand then your evidence is not hearsay.

No, if you see people opening letters at a frame then you have a contractual obligation to report the event to a manager. It will then be for that manager to investigate any issues. You might just be a shite stirer out to cause trouble for another employee with a malicious allegation
