Can I ask how do you know you only just missed out , what was the criteria used?lobsterhands wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022, 16:48It’s not been pulled, 10 at our office have been informed they’ve been offered it, just a case of waiting for letter, then cheerio, apparently 31st March not 31st Jan.
I also found out nearly 50% out of an office of 118 office applied for it, doesn’t half show how staff have had enough.
I applied but narrowly missed out,

Re: Vr
Any ideas how/why people are being picked at your depot? seniority? cheapest to pay off? constantly ill/decrepit?

Re: Vr
It will be done on seniority, there is no other criteria that wouldn’t expose RM to legal action that would halt the process.
They want it done quickly and won’t risk this.
It doesn’t matter to them who goes, just that enough do.

Driving capability was mentioned in the company documentation but for this preference exercise alone, currently seniority is the only “known” criteria.

Re: Vr
If this is true and those you mention did actually complete the preference properly and either didn’t make a mistake or are just giving it the big ‘un in the office then I would expect a challenge and the process to be, at minimum, paused.

He had a list with names on it, he wasn’t allowed to tell me who was on the list but that unfortunately I was close to the 10. This morning people ( with seniority were going in to Coms office ) to initially be told.Corey wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022, 17:10Can I ask how do you know you only just missed out , what was the criteria used?lobsterhands wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022, 16:48It’s not been pulled, 10 at our office have been informed they’ve been offered it, just a case of waiting for letter, then cheerio, apparently 31st March not 31st Jan.
