Bench merging

Once you've squeezed a lemon and used up the rind it must be hard to come up with new ways to use what's left.

Imagine getting paid to try and come up with new s**t to squeeze the unsqueezable.

But won't you still need a, well, erm, bench! Upon which to merge. Will that not take up space?

That's what I thought plus I'd imagine the bench would need to be larger than the footprint of an existing fitting, every fitting I've seen is vertical so assuming they're not planning on lowering the ceiling to fit another floor in and replacing us with posties that are all under about 4ft6 tall then I can't see it taking up less room either.

My guess is that they plan on having each bench used by multiple walks. Walk 1 does there's and ties up, then it's walk 2's turn, once they've tied up walk 3's turn and so on

With a minimum 1hr prep, just for example,one walk gets ready and goes out 10am, next 11am next 12pm, really?

Knowing how royal mail usually works, they'll order all these benches, skip all the existing rm2000 frames, then realise it won't work, when they could have just asked our opinion. Oh well, what do we know.

Get someone who is 2'6" in the back off a peugeot partner and we can bench merge on the move!

That would just be discrimination against dwarfs.
